WELCOME TO THE CREEK
Sugar Creek. Summer 2022
-
Please make yourselves at home!
The Master bedroom, and the girls’ room upstairs have clean sheets and are ready for you. If your girls’ prefer, the bed in the loft is crazy comfy! And we always have a plethora of couches as well.
I know we have bad reception for most people. Here is what you will need for that. :)

If you have any questions, please feel free to text me anytime. -
Please help yourself to any food or drinks you find.
The garage freezer and fridge’s contents are at your disposal as well.
There is some meat in there if you want to grill.
(I apologize for the horrific state the pantry is in.). -
Bed: This is a sleepjumber bed. On the righthand nightstand, there should be a triangle shaped silver remote. You can use this to adjust either side if you wish it to be softer or firmer.
Windows: There are buttons on either side of the nightstands to open and close the shades. (There is also a button under the bathroom window for that shade.)
TV: The TV’s controller is solar. For best results, leave it upside down near the window when not in use. -
This room is typically a much worse disaster. If the girls’ play in here, please don’t feel ANY pressure to clean it up.
-
We hope you enjoy nature at the creek! It’s very common to see large birds land in the creek bend, or deer and turkeys make their way through the backyard.
- Explore the creek path! It stretches down by the creek bank, and back up through the woods. (We strongly recommend wearing bug spray while down there.)-Fish for Crayfish in the creek
- Relax in a hammock
(We ask that the porch hammock is used for relaxing, and if kids wish to play on a hammock, they use the one on the trees by the driveway.)
-Screened in Porch. (This is one of our favorite spots. Light switches for the porch, as well as fans for both inside the porch, and the front porch, are located under the TV in here.)
-We left the fire pit out. I’m not sure what we have for s’mores ingredients, but help yourselves to whatever you find. There should be a few pieces of wood by the back garage door. -
MOVIE NIGHT: We hope you enjoy a family movie night down here! It’s one of our favorite pastimes. We like to raid the pantry for random treats, display them pretty on a large plate, and have a Snacuterie!
GYM: There is a small home gym through the back door. For both the Bike and Tread, feel free to use the KinseyQ profile.
Please use the Norwex spray on the small table to spray the inside of the shoes when you are finished. -
Pip: Grey Cat (Super Nice)
Poli: Black Cat (A bit crabby. She will nip you if she gets tired of being pet)
The cats’ food, water, and litter boxes are in the garage. If that cats are around, we usually put them in the garage to sleep at night. -

Lots of kids’ books upstairs, and the black shelf in the basement has some adult books.
